COMPOSITION:
Each tube 30gm contains:Neomycin Sulfate 300MG
PHARMACOLOGICAL ACTION:
Nemycin sulphate is an aminoglycoside antibiotic with spectrum of activity against staphlococci,streptococci and a wide range of gram-negative bacteria, includig E.coli.
INDICATIONS:
Topicallly suppurative diseases of the skin,in particular those caused by staphylococci,purulent complications of allergic diseases of the skin,infected small burns and frostites
CONTRA-INDICATIONS:
Hypersensitivity to neomycin,hearing damage.
Pregnancy and lactation.
DOSAGE AND DIRECTIONS FOR USE:
Dose size depends on the extent and localization of affected site.
Cover the affected site with a thin layer of the ointment 2-4times a day, unless the physician recommends otherwise.
EFFECTS ON ABILITY TO DRIVE AND OPERATE MACHINES IN MOTION:
The medicine is safe and does not impair psychophysical skills,ability to drice and perate machines in motion.
INTERACTIONS WITH OTHER MEDICINAL PRODUCTS AND OTHER FORMS OF INTERACTION:
Intensifiers nephrotoxic and ototoxic effects of other aminoglycoside and peptide antibiotics;do not use concurr ently with other ototoxic ,nephrotoxic and neurotoxic medicines due to the risk of intensification of those effects.
Enhances effects of muscle-relaxants,coumarin derivatives and anticoagulants.
Heparin decrease antibacterial activity of neomycin.
Undersirable effects:
Skin reactions and irritations may occur.
STORAGE INSTRUCTIONS:
Store in a cool and dry place between 15-30°C . Protect from light.
